Visual journals are a place to engage and reflect with the world around you. You can write, draw, doodle, paste, rip, tear, crumble, or scribble all you want. The only limitations in the process are self-imposed. Using words and images to create a moment, holding on to what is important in life, returning to those moments with new eyes, allowing those moments to dialogue with us, and listening to the soft whispers coming from the page all constitute the hermeneutic experience, but within this experience is something deeper – the transformation of lived experience into an object speaking to you – something illuminating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNE9N5lECb0
